Friends of the Children is the only program in the nation that connects young children with paid, professional mentors for thirteen years.

Friends of the Children provides one-on-one mentoring relationships for the most at-risk children, from the time they enter kindergarten until high school graduation. The mentors help to uncover a child’s potential and build a lifelong foundation for success– through friendship, advocacy and education.

FOTC Rummage Sale
Come and participate, or donate items!

Come support our children as they put on a huge rummage sale Saturday, May 31st at the agency office, located at 1437 23rd Ave. You can get great buys on furniture, household goods, clothes, toys, books and more. All proceeds will go directly to children’s programming.

FOTC Art Walk A Huge Success!

Dozens of Friends, children, FOTC supporters and art lovers
turned out last Wednesday for the FOTC Art Walk at OASIS art gallery in Wallingford. OASIS is currently featuring art by our FOTC children, and the children's eyes lit up as they got to watch patrons buy their very own artwork! 100% of the proceeds from the kid’s art goes directly to Friends of the Children.

Throughout the month of May and June, the kid’s art will continue to be sold at the gallery, there will be a raffle, and 10% of sales of Strazzanti Photography & Art will go directly to Friends of the Children.
